NBA free agency season is finally here and, while the moratorium period still runs until July 6, some blockbuster deals have already been announced. The most high-profile free agents this offseason include Kevin Durant, who is coming back from an Achilles injury, Kyrie Irving, and Jimmy Butler, with a host of other players looking to secure the bag ahead of the 2019-20 NBA season.
After a chaotic first night, Durant wasted no time in announcing his departure from the Golden State Warriors to the Brooklyn Nets, with Irving and DeAndre Jordan set to follow him from Boston and the New York Knicks. Other deals, while practically done and widely reported, are yet to be announced officially.
To help you keep up with everything, we’ve put together a quick roundup of the biggest free agency deals, as well as the social media reactions, from Knicks fans getting roasted for striking out again to people weighing in on which players are overpaid and which are on a bargain contract.
